Mission Statement
At The Next Steps Program, we empower individuals through transformative classes, mentorship, and relationship-building tools rooted in spiritual principles. We are dedicated to nurturing the spirit, fostering personal growth, and strengthening our most impacted communities. Our mission is to inspire wholeness; helping every person grow with purpose, confidence, and faith in every area of life.
Our Staff
Frank J. Days Jr. ~ President
He’s a man of faith who has been married to his beautiful wife for 16 years and serves in his local church as an elder! He’s an entrepreneur who drives commercial trucks and has a huge heart for empowering and encouraging men and young boys in the community. He’s always recognized that in life, we all receive steps along the way that help develop and shape who we are today, and he believes he can make an impact on the world by building upon those steps toward a better future
Lashante T. Days ~ Secretary
A wonderful woman of faith, she has been married to her loving husband for 16 years and faithfully serves in her local church! She’s been a businesswoman and entrepreneur for over nine years and is a master cosmetologist at Salon Elite LLC in the city of Savannah, which she proudly owns and operates. She has a deep love for assisting senior citizens and ensuring they receive the care and compassion they deserve. She’s dedicated to her community and passionate about serving toward a whole and healthy future!
Joyce M. Snider ~ Treasury
An awesome woman who stands firmly on the spiritual mission that whatever she puts her hands to do, God will see her through! This mission serves as the foundation of her calling to bring hope to others.
Born in Savannah, Georgia, Joyce is the proud mother of three adult children: LaShante Days, Antwon Snider, and Alissa Snider, and the loving grandmother of two, Jamareo Jr. and Jadea Michelle Bright. She also cherishes her son-in-law, Frank Days.
Joyce’s accounting career spans 33 years, reflecting her dedication and excellence in the field. Her educational journey includes studies at Tuskegee University, Savannah State University, South College (Business Administration Certificate), and the Interdenominational Theological Center (Certificate in Theology)
What We Do
The Next Steps Program Inc. is dedicated to providing the missing links that bridge together a healthy, whole, and impactful society! We empower and encourage men and young boys through an identity-building curriculum, mentorship, and counseling that nurture the mind, body, and spirit. In life, we receive wisdom, counsel, and guidance from those with a heart to pour into our present and our future, and that’s exactly what we’ve been called to do: to bring an impactful measure of love and support to those who may have never experienced it along life’s journey.
We also inspire and encourage young ladies to cultivate their gifts and develop their entrepreneurial spirit. It’s our heart to equip them with the steps that prepare them for life, to speak hope and purpose into those struggling to see their vision for the future. We aim to guide them in building a legacy that will last for generations to come.
In addition, we support senior citizens in our community by reminding them that they are not forgotten. We pour life and love back into them and provide resources in areas where family or support systems may fall short.
Through these programs and curriculums, our goal is to strengthen communities, both here and abroad, by upholding unity, wholeness, and hope for a brighter future.
Inspiration
The vision was inspired by our President, Frank Days. While serving in the community, he realized that sometimes it can be as simple as one missed step in building a home that causes the entire house to fall. Through conversations with young boys and men, he saw how close they were to transforming the lives of future generations, simply by taking a few extra steps toward manhood and purpose. This vision was captured and recognized as a calling that reaches across society as a whole.
